In Sitsforwomen’s webshop you will find sustainable gifts. Each product has a story. Did you know, for example, that the Shipibo Indians “sing in” each scarf separately to wish luck to the wearer? Or that some motifs still date from the time of the Incas? By combining ancient culture with contemporary fashion beautiful products are created. All products in this webshop are handmade or woven in the traditional way with very exclusive natural materials by women from India and Peru. Honest materials: alpaca is really alpaca. Cashmere is real cashmere.

Really fairtrade

A few times a year Margreeth Kuipers goes to India and Peru to find products for Sitsforwomen and to talk to artisans who make these. This way she knows for sure that the products are of high quality and that the working conditions are good. ‘Feel good, do good’: SitS for women spends all profits on the artisans who make the products.
